Candidature ASCO annual meeting

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the continuation of last year’s Belgian Post-ASCO meeting initiative in 2023.Thanks, again, for the support of Astra-Zeneca Belgium:
four young cancer investigators (restricted to MD’s) will be offered the possibility to attend the 2024 ASCO annual meeting (May 31 – June 4, 2024 • McCormick Place • Chicago, IL, USA).

The support will cover the travel-, housing, and conference registration costs. Candidates will need to be under the age of 36 years at the time of their application and (co-)author on an abstract that has been submitted for this year’s meeting. The heads of the medical oncology departments in Belgium and the Grand-Duché De Luxembourg will be notified of this initiative by email, and there will be a public announcement on the Post-ASCO website.

The candidates must submit their application by email to registrations@congresscare.com, mentioning their date of birth and a copy of their submitted abstract (on a confidential basis).

The period for submission of the candidatures will be from 6 to 18 March 2024. Selection of the best 4 abstracts will be in the week of 20^th of March, and candidates will be informed regarding the outcome of their application in the week of the 25^th of March.
